The Assenmacher 100 is a recreational and social fun ride through the farmland and villages of mid Michigan. Started in 1980, it has become one of Michigan's premier century rides and is endorsed by the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports. It is held each year on the third Sunday in August. With routes from approximately 20 miles to 100 miles there are courses for experienced cyclists as well as the casual rider.  It has become a popular DALMAC warm up ride.

ROUTES: Five scenic, smooth, Bike Friendly routes are available for our  2008 ride. Sag support vehicles will be on all routes until 3:00 PM. All routes will be marked with our unique "A" road arrows.

32 Miles Flat to Rolling hills.

52 Miles Flat to Rolling hills

100 Kilometers (62 miles) Flat to Rolling hills

100 Miles (Century) Flat to Moderate hills.

PARKING: Parking is available at several of the Swartz Creek Community Schools. Packet pick up, registration and the Ride Start is at Assenmacher's Cycling Center on Miller Rd. in Downtown Swartz Creek. 

T-SHIRTS: A limited quantity of custom designed ASSENMACHER 100 T-shirts will be available for only $14.00 at the registration area on the day of the ride.  At this price they won't last long!

FAMILY RATE: A maximum family Pre-Registered rate of $30.00 is available for families with dependent children under 18 years of age. All riders must use the same application form and/or be received in the same envelope.

PROVISIONS: Maps, Rest Stop refreshments, Sag Service.

Enjoy Coney dogs, snacks and good company at the shop after the ride.

Pre registration is recommended. Please use one form per address if possible. Detach and mail completed form with your check, made payable to

 On site registration and packet pickup is at Assenmacher's Cycling Center, 8053 Miller Rd. in Swartz Creek. Registration is from 7:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Century riders must leave by 8:00 AM. All other riders should be on the road by 10:30 AM There will be no refunds after August 1st. 2008.

All riders must sign the release. A parents signature is required for applicants under 18. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
